Rocko is a wallaby who has emmigrated to America from Australia. He lives in O Town and tries to get through life but, of course, comes across a multitude of dilemmas and misadventures he must get through. Other characters include Rocko's best friend, Heffer, a steer who has been raised by wolves, Filbert, an easily upset turtle, and Ed Bighead who detests Rocko and hates having him for a next door neighbor. On this show, Rocko has such adventures as trying to adapt to a new vacuum cleaner, having Heffer move in temporarily after his parents kick him out, and going to a movie theater.

Did You Know?
The character of Ralph Bighead is voiced by none other than series creator Joe Murray
. Murray had no interest in being a voice actor, but he was convinced by writer Martin Olson
after Olson based the character on Murray's personality. According to Olson, the most humorous part of seeing Murray voice Ralph was when he had to scream "NEVER!" over and over again because, according to Olson, Murray never raised his voice to anyone. See more
When Mr. Dupette appears for the first time, he is Rocko's boss as Super-Lot-O-Comics. In all subsequent episodes he works for Conglom-o. See more
Hey, Rocko. Which is funnier, bananas or cheese?
Cheese, Hef. Definitely cheese.
The episode "Road Rash" originally had a scene where Rocko and Heffer stop for a night at the No-Tell Motel, and manage to get a room thanks to premature departure. There also was a line of dialogue about "Johnson Rods" that was changed to "Curtain Rods". See more
